Cost & Environmental Savings

Switching from disposable to reusable caps saves money, of course, but you’d be amazed just how much.  Let’s look at an example in a couple of different ways. Trusts we are working with are already making significant savings. Here’s more detail in our cost examples below.

Please email us at: sales@warwickmed.co.uk to request our cap calculator so that you can quickly work out how much your Trust could save.

Providing an annual saving of £15 in year one,   £39 in year 2 and £39 in year 3. This would be a total saving of £93 over three years - (the hats’ life span.) £93 x 400 staff = £37,200 SAVINGS for a Trust with 400 staff members over three years.

If there are 400 staff using one disposable cap per day, based on 15p per cap, per day, 5 days per week, the annual cost would be £39 per year per staff member.  3 named caps per staff member  from Warwick Med would cost £24.00

Total Saving

If you changed to name/role hats with Warwick Med, the initial outlay based on 3 hats per staff member for 400 staff would be £9,000.

The saving would be less in year one due to the initial outlay on the named hats.

And it’s not just money you are saving, it’s the planet too. The total number of disposable caps sent to to landfill each year would be 104,000 so over the named hats’ three-year life span, this would mean 312,000 fewer disposable hats bound for landfill.
